Falna October 9,10,11 2009
Faln-ites. Time to mark your calendars! OCTOBER 9, 10 and 11. Over the past two years, we had such a great turnout of rugged individuals that we decided the show must go on. Last year's turnout topped 100 fab friends. Beautiful weather, great food, interesting artistry and the company of amazing friends is on tap. Come for an hour or for the whole weekend. Bring yourselves and your friends. And check in on this blog periodically for updates. Can't wait to see you all again. The V's.
What we got? 15 acres of peace and quiet. A field for camping. Salt water river frontage for fishing, sea kayaking, whitewater kayaking, canoeing, swimming (not for southern thin blooded persons), etc. Outhouse for nature's calls. Grills for cookin'. Fire pit for whatever we use fire pits for. Woods for exploring. Music. The ever-spectacular Cider Pressing Event. Jenny's Homemade Donuts. Surely the donuts alone will entice you to check out Falna! And should you choose to leave the compound you will be just 4 miles from all that Mid-Coast Maine has to offer (quintessential Maine tourism stuff....like lobsters and antiques.) Check out the other posts and links on this blog for details like What To Bring. Lodging. Food. And anything else your Type-A self will be concerned about in making your first venture to Falna. We hope its a great adventure.
